Body Image Group

This is a group for adults (18+) who want targeted support to improve their body image. It is inspired by a highly researched curriculum to help you improve your negative relationship with your body. We teach this program from a Health At Every Size® perspective to create an inclusive space that supports people of all sizes who want to find compassionate ways to nourish and accept themselves as they are.

Along with a group of like-minded participants, you’ll examine your feelings about your body, the ideals you’ve internalized about what bodies should look like, and your beliefs about what “healthy” means. You’ll learn to challenge your negative thoughts about your body with support from the group, and put changes into practice through simple assignments outside of sessions.

This group will meet in 6 sessions, beginning on Thursday, October 24th.

Thursdays from 6:45 - 7:30pm (EST)

Thursday October 24th
Thursday October 31st
Thursday November 7th
Thursday November 21st
Thursday December 5th
Thursday December 12th
(*please note - the group will not meet on Thursday Nov. 14th or Thursday Nov. 28th)

Group sessions occur in person in the Bloch Behavioral office at 26 Court Street.
